SULFAMIC ACID

Applications:-
  • Sulphamic Acid is super efficient descaling agent and is used for cleaning a variety of industrial equipment and domestic appliances.
  • Sulphamic Acid prevents pulp degradation due to temperature at the chlorination and hydrochloride stage. It permits bleaching at higher temperature and lowerH without loss of strength.
  • Sulphamic Acid removes excess of nitrides used in the diazotization reactions in the manufacturing of dye stuffs and pigments. Nitrides if present in process water of effluents can also be removed by using Sulphamic Acid
  • Sulphamic Acid is used for stabilizing chlorine in swimming pools and cooling towers.
Sulphamic acid as a descalant:
GP grade may be used for removing scales obtained from water in heating and cooling systems e.g. boilers, heat exchangers, condensers, jackets and coils.
SR grade of Sulphamic acid is recommended for scales containing high silica. Typical examples are scales found in caustic evaporators in the Aluminum industry and black liquor evaporator in the pulp industry.

    para-toluene sulphonic acid monohydrate is a strong organic acid. It is much stronger than benzoic acid. It is one of the few strong acids that is solid and, hence, conveniently weighed.     Description: It is a powerful multipurpose Iodophor disinfectant for one step cleaning and disinfection in food plants, livestock buildings and veterinary clinics.
    It is suitable for use as no rinse food plant sanitizer and poultry sanitizer. Regular use helps control biofilm and mineral deposites in water. Broad spectrum, rapid action and non-irritation to skin in diluted form. Effective in cold and hard water.
    For disinfection add 8-10 ml to every 1 litre of water for one step cleaning and disinfecting of light and moderately soiled surfaces. Heavily soiled surfaces should be cleaned and rinsed before disinfecting. For effective action, surfaces must remain wet for at least 15 minutes.

    Direction for use:
    Use for walls, floors, appliances, furnishing, utensil and equipments composed of hard, non-porous, inanimate surfaces ( glass, stainless steel, ganvanised metal, porcelain, linoleum, tile, enamelled and finished wood surfaces). Prepare fresh solutions daily. Do not reuse solutions. Discard solutions that are visibly soiled. Apply solutions by flooding immersion, swabbing, mopping, spraying or brushing to thoroghly wet all surfaces.
